Cannot decided whether to start my DofE Gold or not?

Has anybody got any advice? Wish I had done it at the same time as my Queen's Guide now!

I never intended to do gold, after silver I thought "no. this is it. never again". But my friends were very "come on, we started with bronze together, and we'll take it through to gold together, what's the point in stopping now".

So I signed up, and I don't regret it. It had been 2 years since my silver expedition, so I'd forgotten the feeling of satisfaction I got from seeing the end of an expedition or getting my book signed and reading all the nice things people write about you.

Whilst on my expedition, one of the people from another group said to us in passing- it's all in the mind, get the mentality right and you can do anything.

Good luck with whatever you decide
